- Maximize the product of an array (take care of negative numbers).
- Bridge building problem across cities.
- F-F Round 1:
- Interviewer asked why Microsoft and why Bing.
- Reverse a linked list in size k.
- Design question on an array: finding an element in an infinite array.
- Search for an element in a pivoted and sorted array.
- F-F Round 2:
- Same question: why Microsoft and some project at your current company.
- If two diagonally opposite coordinates of a rectangle are given, tell where they overlap or not.
- Find the longest substring without repeating characters.
- F-F Round 3:
- Why Bing? What do you know about Bing?
- Design how you will implement the most viewed bar in Bing search, with different approaches.
- How to merge two unsorted arrays (gave 3 solutions with complexity).
- F-F Round 4 (AA round: as appropriate):
- Discussion started with college, studies, and grades.
- Moved on to how Bing can scale up to Google? Can it defeat it?
- What's the probability that it can defeat Google?
- What new features can be implemented?
- Views on Bing fighting Google.
