I first met the Microsoft team at my university during an info session. They were also present at a career expo my university hosts, and I was able to talk one-on-one with a recruiter. I was interested in hardware, but after speaking with the recruiter, I was convinced to go over to the dark side. I had my interview about two weeks after the initial one-on-one, and the interview process wasn't all too bad. I was asked a couple of behavioral questions and two technical questions.
I couldn't have moved forward through the interview had it not been for the interviewer. She helped me feel extremely comfortable and also assisted me throughout the entire technical portion of the interview.
