I applied online. The process took 3 months.

For the internship, it was a typical 2-round interview focused on DSA. Each round was about 45 mins long, with a break in between. The interview should be a conversation, not an intense session.

The questions were centered around LinkedList and String manipulation.

Great Perks, Team Lottery

Software Engineer Intern • Current Employee

Redmond, Washington, United States

Pros: Great pay, benefits, workplace, and swag, etc. Microsoft had a lot of events that summer, and we got an Xbox as a gift.

Cons: Hit or miss with team placement. If you end up on a cool team (with great people), you'll have a blast. But I've had friends who've been on teams that weren't very exciting or who had difficulties working with senior members on the team.
