I applied online and emailed the university recruiter. My application was expedited to onsite due to having a competing offer deadline and passing the phone screen in the previous year.
There were four onsite interviews, all a mix of technical and behavioral. (I heard there are only two interviews for interns now.)
I received a verbal offer shortly after.
