Software Engineer Interview Experience - Redmond, Washington
Process
I passed the on-campus interview, which consisted of a quick tree recursive problem that took around 30 minutes.
I was provided with a nice hotel in Redmond for the on-site interview, about 10 minutes from the campus.
The day was pretty tiring, as it involved 5 interviews, with one of them taking place during lunch.
Each interview was a mix of behavioral and technical questions, such as string manipulation, backtracking, and some networking topics I didn't fully understand.
Overall, it was a great interview experience, but I would prefer to have no interview during lunch.
Questions
One question was very similar to the "Counting Islands" question on LeetCode, which involves DFS.

There's a general distrust of upper management due to multiple rounds of layoffs, which still seems to be permeating my coworkers and the company at large.
