Pros: I spent a few years in Bing, learning from arguably some of the brightest folks in the industry about distributed systems and application development. I would say it's a really good place to learn technical prowess in different areas of the software industry.
Cons: I feel that the review system is sometimes more or less solely dependent on manager feedback. There is no real accounting for what your peers think about you as a contributing member of the team.
Peer reviews are sort of just a formality, and ultimately, the manager decides everything.
