Process

There was a paper test with 5 questions. I passed it and then I had on-site interview with 3 examiners. Paper test had three easy questions and two difficult. One of the difficult questions is usually solved with recursions. No math questions this time. On-site interview was more difficult, but I think I was good. I am not sure why they did not call me back. Probably there were other better candidates.

Pros: It has great stability and many areas to which you can switch during your career. It also has many benefits.

Cons: The company is too huge, so you won't be able to make a lot of difference there. Since there's a reasonable amount of people on each team, things are changing. But until now, it seems that there's not too much integration between completely different teams. It's hard to reuse what they did.

Cons: The company is too huge, so you won't be able to make a lot of difference there. Since there's a reasonable amount of people on each team, things are changing. But until now, it seems that there's not too much integration between completely different teams. It's hard to reuse what they did.

Pros: It was an awesome experience. You get full ownership of a project, which is amazing to have as an intern. A lot of the projects received a lot of attention throughout Microsoft. The management is really good; everyone is willing to help.

Cons: At the Garage, you won't be given full exposure as to what it's like to be a Software Engineer at Microsoft, because it's an experience of its own. With that said, you'll learn some valuable skills and gain amazing experience, and you can be given another internship or full-time interview. The pay in the States is way better, but management is working on it.
