The second-stage interview involved discussions with two senior architects who emphasized the importance of deep Azure knowledge.
Despite my extensive experience as a Solutions Architect for over 10 years, primarily with on-premises environments and some exposure to cloud technologies, I emphasized to them the transferability of architectural skills across different platforms.
While I acknowledge the significance of Azure expertise, I believe that a proficient architect can quickly grasp Azure-specific terminology and concepts.
It's unfortunate that their specific criterion prioritized Azure proficiency over broader architectural capabilities.
