Process

Applied through a friend.

Received an online code test:

  • 3 questions in 60 minutes, to be completed before the first interview.

First interview was on Skype with an international recruiter, entirely in English (the rest were in my language).

Some personal questions:

  • Tell me about yourself.
  • Tell me about a project you took part in; what were the technical details?
  • Describe a situation where you felt under pressure.
  • Describe a time where you've had difficulties with team members while working on a project.

Then some logic questions:

  • How would you explain recursion to a child?

After this interview, I was contacted and told which team I was being interviewed for.

Then I had the first technical interview with a senior developer from the group (not the team).

General Data Structures and basic Algorithms questions.

Second technical interview was with the Team Lead.

Much harder questions about a course I'm currently taking (3rd year).
