Terrible review model. Though they say the company has moved on from it, if you received a bad review, even as a result of a bad management situation, your review retains on the HR system. Any time you apply for new open positions, HR creates a roadblock for the hiring manager to get leadership approval, even though they claim Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
Abolish the old review model and the leadership approval practice. Give a fair chance to all previous employees, at least for an interview, to prove they have skills and experience.
