Overall good benefits and opportunities in general for all employees.

Cons

Terrible review model. Though they say the company has moved on from it, if you received a bad review, even as a result of a bad management situation, your review retains on the HR system. Any time you apply for new open positions, HR creates a roadblock for the hiring manager to get leadership approval, even though they claim Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.

Advice to Management

Abolish the old review model and the leadership approval practice. Give a fair chance to all previous employees, at least for an interview, to prove they have skills and experience.

Accept there are possibilities a person may be genuinely stuck in a bad situation and not necessarily a bad performer.
