I applied online on Microsoft's careers page. It was an absolute pathetic experience with Microsoft Hyderabad. I was unable to get a hold of a human or any kind of response from the recruiter. A few weeks later, I received an email from a recruiter

The interview process involves: * A Codility home exam. * A code exam with a team leader. * A questions exam with a group manager. A recruiter will connect you to schedule the next session between these stages.

Four or five virtual interviews, one after the other. These mostly involved coding in their tool, with the interviewer providing feedback along the way. Some system design and fit questions were also included.
