Pros

Good tools and infrastructure. Broad exposure to software technologies. Good support to engineers. Has its own office. Good campus and locations.

Cons

Disjoint from Open Source communities and technologies.

Peer competition and politics in some teams.

Artificial negativities in the review process due to force curve and managing out bottom performers.

Advice to Management

We need more heads on managers/leaders that can make coherent product/technical decisions.

Focus more on product achievements, less on process.
