Be aware of restrictions in the position
The place is very diverse; there are people from every single background.
- Pay is much less than other places.
- Super rigid structure.
- Unnecessary processes for everything. On my first day, I created a PR to fix a small typo on an error message in Office Word; it took 2 months to be merged.
- Even though they say the position can be remote, if you say in the interview that it is a deal-breaker, within 1 month they ask you to go to the office 4 times a week.
