Microsoft offers a rigorous and thorough process, but the bar is set high. Not ideal if you have years of practical experience but don't work on LeetCode-like problems daily. Only recommended if you are willing to practice for months.

A recruiter contacted me around mid-September. I then had a 5-round onsite interview, plus an additional General Hiring Manager interview a week ago. After that, the recruiter disappeared without providing any update. I will treat this as a reject
