Depends on how your manager is
Very good about work/life balance. Every year, they seem to improve some aspect of employee benefits. It's extremely difficult to lose your position unless your entire division is cut loose.
An ineffective manager can significantly stagnate your career, and then other managers look at your career velocity and wonder what's wrong with you.
Please be more consistent across the company in terms of promotion and bonus opportunities. It seems like we have to all move to Azure to get good career velocity.
