Company filled with smart people, provides a good opportunity to learn things. It exposes you to very large-scale systems, giving a good understanding of scalability issues.
Would be confined to Microsoft technologies, with very little exposure to open-source stuff.
I would love to see more contribution from Microsoft to the open-source world, as well as their use of some of the stuff available.
