Received the phone interview opportunity through an employee referral. There was one round of phone interview. Questions covered: * Past projects * Behavioral questions * Several basic data structure questions, including hashmap and binary search t

The interview process was pretty smooth, and HR was very responsive. There were four rounds of 1:1s with breaks in between. I spoke directly to the hiring team and manager and learned about their work style.

I made it only to the first step. There was an HR interview for about 30 minutes, which included basic questions about myself and why I want to work at Microsoft.
