No cons at Microsoft for me.
It was an experimental interview process where I was allowed to use the IDE. I was asked to implement pending methods in order to make the function work. The problem was related to queues and how to decouple them to maximize efficiency.
Intern to full-time transfer. Two technical interviews (after OA and HR phone screen, etc.) were conducted for the internship. One interview followed the completion of my internship. The entire process was fairly standard.
It's a long interview process. At first, they will ask DSA questions, and then there will be questions on CSE core subjects. A good project is compulsory. Have complete basics on time and space complexity, and good basics on core subjects like DBMS,
