Attended a hiring event at Microsoft. Had a telephonic screening prior to the onsite interviews. The onsite interviews consisted of 4 rounds of technical interviews with managers from various teams. Each round featured a coding question (LeetCode

1 phone screen followed by 5 onsite rounds. The phone screen was a real-world problem, with emphasis on algorithms rather than actual code. Onsite rounds were standard, with 3 of them focusing on design and 2 on LeetCode medium questions.

The interview difficulty was average, with around five rounds. There were some coding questions on a whiteboard, a design question, and behavioral questions. Good preparation is definitely needed. It is also better to have some knowledge of Microsof
