I got a first round interview a few days after delivering the CV. The interviewer asked for general CV stuff, projects, and past internships, and two algorithm problems, which were roughly LeetCode medium level difficulty. The interviewer was nice.

The interview process was structured and professional. It included an initial recruiter screen, followed by technical interviews focused on data structures, problem-solving, and system design basics. Interviewers were clear in explaining expectations

I applied through an employee referral. It was somewhat like an interview, so yeah, it was as per the standards of Microsoft, and it's a respectable company, so be your best version and all the best.
