I realize that the goal is to deliver value to shareholders, and that painful decisions have to be made to achieve that goal. It is still true that nearly every project I have held high hopes for in terms of the future has been canceled. Those that merely plod along burning money at a fantastic rate continue to get the green light every fiscal year.
