I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months.
First interview with a recruiter to discuss my situation, the role, and ask a few basic technical assessment questions. The rest of the process was then outlined: interviews with a hiring manager followed by a technical interview. Immediately received an email confirming the next steps and introducing the person for the upcoming interview. Complete radio silence since then, despite several follow-ups over 3 months. After all, it's not surprising to get ghosted by a company named Mistral.
