Process
I was referred through a friend.
I had an initial talk with a recruiter and was then supposed to have a technical phone screen, which was cancelled due to a hiring freeze.
They then matched me with another team, and I finally had the phone screen, which went great.
The next step was talking to a hiring manager. The HM had only 3 years of experience, all of it at MongoDB. In my opinion, the chat went great, but for some reason, they decided not to move forward with me.
I still see the position being posted on LinkedIn and available on their website. It was a waste of my precious time. I won't be interviewing with them again.
