Process
Basic phone screen with a recruiter – basic behavioral questions.
Then, they set you up for a technical phone interview. Mine asked some basic questions about what databases are, and then we moved onto the technical problem.
I made it to the final round, which is a three-hour video interview with two technical problems. The first one was very easy, and the second was medium LeetCode difficulty.

Interns are accompanied by 2+ mentors.
Spaces for important/sensitive conversations about gender/race equality.
Competitive compensation.

Pros: Teams set and hold themselves to high standards and are really invested in helping everyone succeed.
Great transparency on plans, thoughts, and goals. Everyone is open and willing to engage or talk.
Really understands its "why" and does a great job communicating it.
Cons: Mongo is growing so fast that some processes haven't had time to mature yet, but people are open to feedback and want to improve. This will resolve itself over time.
