I had an in-person interview when they visited my college campus, and then I had a three-hour phone coding interview. Overall, I had a very positive experience. It was the company where I felt most at home when talking to people.

Pros: - Friendly, open work environment (almost everyone is willing to help you out if you have any questions or are stuck).
- Good work-life balance.
- As an intern, your mentors want you to succeed.
- Fellow interns and co-workers are great, and it feels like a small community.

Pros: The room to grow myself and my career is what drew me to MongoDB and has stayed true my entire time here.
I'm surrounded by super smart people with always interesting work to dig into.
Most importantly, the work/life balance is amazing.
Cons: Project stress can sometimes get really high, but a lot of that is self-imposed, wanting to produce the best end result.

Pros: 3 months of a very extensive ramp-up plan.
Culture of keeping the bar as high as possible, in everything that you do.
High-growth company with crazy rates of growth & lots of opportunity ahead.
Cons: Intense, and with very high requirements to tie into a detailed deal process, not to sell transactionally.
The product is highly used, but there are lots of misperceptions about the product and the market.
