Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - India
Process
This was a waste of time. They shared a HackerRank challenge, which I cleared. Afterward, they booked my entire day. After the first face-to-face round in the morning (11 am), the second round was conducted around 4 pm. The panel seemed to be in a hurry, posed a difficult data structures question, and expected me to solve it in 10 minutes with proper running code. My day was wasted. Please do not waste candidates' time!

Morgan Stanley Work Experiences
- 2.0Good for retirementSenior Software Engineer • Current EmployeeBengaluru, Karnataka, IndiaFebruary 17, 2020Pros: After 1.5 years of working here, I can think of only 1 good point. 1. They will keep you busy. Basically, if you are not looking for quality work, then this is a place for you. 2. Work-life balance is good. If you are not looking to learn more, this is a place for you.Cons: 1. Everything is on legacy technologies. 2. Almost none of the projects are derived from India, so there will always be a difference in quality of work. 3. Very process-oriented company; you need weeks to get approval for the deployment of even a single line of code. 4. Pretty much every other MNC where they follow boss culture. You need to butter up your manager continuously. 5. And they fire a lot of people every year. Very risky.
