Process
I started with Round 1. I was told it would be a verbal tech interview, but it ended up being a whole assignment within a 45-minute interview. I wanted to delay the interview, but they did not agree to that.

Don't stay too long
Software Developer • Current Employee
Montreal, Quebec, Canada
June 17, 2018
Pros: Perks, free coffee... needed to type at least 5 words in this field.
Cons: Custom systems with no market value. Stay long time and it would be difficult to work elsewhere.
Security constraints are killing creativity.
Layoffs are targeting older employees now. Don't count on retiring in this company.
Salary used to be competitive but not anymore.
Lies are tolerated from managers, who are constantly plotting how to take advantage/advance their careers by using you as a tool.

Great Tech, Lacks Structure
Software Developer • Former Employee
New York, New York, United States
January 25, 2010
Pros: One of the most prestigious investment banks in the IT area to work for. Relatively high-end software development. Higher management is willing to invest in technology. Relatively good peer-to-peer relationships (of course, that varies from team to team, department to department).
Cons: Still lacks organization and structure of the leader in the industry/field. Real teamwork/efforts is not stimulated (read: enforced) enough to provide for the environment where the above will be inevitable. Politics takes over competence more often than is unavoidable.
