Process

The company selected people on the basis of a written test held in college as part of the college recruitment process. The written test mainly consisted of objective questions from C and C++.

The interview process consisted of three interviews: two technical interviews and one HR interview. The questions asked in the technical interviews started with the projects I did, then moved to C++, and finally covered Operating System topics, including questions about Threads.

Questions

If an application is to be made which reads from three files and writes the sum into the fourth file, should it use multiple threads?
