Colleagues are very inclusive, with a nice atmosphere at work.
Outdated tech stack. MS is kind of "cheap" regarding not giving you any working equipment (computer, monitors, etc.). You have to pay for your own food on team-building events. If there is an event at the office, you often have to pay for entrance (board game night, wine tasting).
Also, there are barely any team-building activities, maybe one per year. No corporate parties, like a Christmas party.
Too strict dress code. The annual salary raise is far behind the inflation rate. Even long-term contractor workers do not get the same benefits as full-time employees, like extra holidays, bonuses, or access to online learning platforms.
The interview process is divided into three parts. The first two parts are coding assessments, while the third is more of a personal conversation. Everybody I've talked to has been nice and understanding.
I applied online and the process took one day. I applied for a Software Developer position at Sandy, UT, but they interviewed for a Jr. to Intermediate Full Stack Developer role. I completed the phone screen interview with a different person than I
Multiple rounds of interviews after OT. Problems were of easy and medium level. Judged on the basis of answers given in various fields. One should be good enough in OS, OOPs, DBMS, and basic concepts like indexing, file structure, and threads/proc
