Process

I applied through LinkedIn. I got an email from HR to set up an interview with the Design Lead in the US and a Senior Researcher in the Bayan Lepas office.

  1. The interview went smoothly. I was asked decent-level questions regarding research and my experience.
  2. They explained properly about what the job entailed. I am actually very attracted to the work profile. It is exactly something I want to do.

Two months after the first interview, I have basically been ghosted. There is no update from them. The career portal shows an 'Under Consideration' status even after two months.

To be honest, I am looking forward to the next interview round because this is an exciting job! But the ghosting is a bit too much. At least let me know if I did not make it through. Then I can at least move on to other opportunities. At my level, I can't be trigger-happy to randomly apply to jobs. It takes time and effort to carefully select a job opportunity and apply to it.
