Pros

It actually gives opportunity for anybody and everybody to grow. Yes, a person with talent can go far. The open culture and candor play a major role. Off late, a lot of information is being passed through to all levels.

Cons

Too much time and energy is wasted in consensus building and project tracking. At times, we are hanging on to processes for the sake of it! Recently, pessimism has been getting the upper hand. Under-committing is getting the lead.

Advice to Management

Balance the business and take the big, bold calls quickly. Don't wait for things to ease out by themselves; they won't!

Think critically if leadership at the mid-level is playing ping pong with charters and/or fancy org names rather than solving problems that help the company or customers. Don't encourage endless reorgs!

Hold accountable those who can stand up for a reorg, whether successful or otherwise!

Olive branches should be far fewer!
