The interview process is unnecessarily long and convoluted. This company doesn’t seem to know who it wants to hire, thus wasting candidates’ time.
It starts with an intensive recruiter screen, where the recruiter acts as if they are the hiring manager.
This is followed by a screen with an engineer on the team, which includes both behavioral questions and an unexpected pop quiz.
Next, there's a lengthy take-home assignment that will consume your entire weekend to complete.
Then come five rounds of on-site interviews, assessed by egotistical narcissists who appear to be part of a "cult."
They will nitpick the minutiae of details during the interview to find reasons to reject candidates, such as:
In one instance, an interviewer was unfamiliar with the technologies I used in the system design interview and used that insecurity to doubt my design.
If I had passed that portion of the on-site interviews, there would have been another round of on-site interviews.
This process is complete insanity. I will never interview with this company again.
Don’t bother interviewing unless you have time to waste.
