DevSecOps Interview Experience - Barcelona, Spain

January 1, 2020
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interview process included:

  • An initial phone call with HR.
  • A first technical interview covering AWS basic concepts, CI/CD, and security-related questions.
  • A second technical interview with a live coding exercise.
  • A third technical interview focusing on security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), security as code, good practices, and the OWASP Top 10.
  • A fourth technical interview involving an exercise to design a solution similar to one of their existing products.

The process took almost two months. I received positive feedback after the first three technical interviews, but it appears I did not perform well in the last one. After spending many hours, including time during holidays, on this process, I only received an automated email: "After careful consideration, our team has decided not to move forward with your candidacy at this time."

My advice: Don't spend time on this company, as they could end up wasting your time.
