Last year, I went through the hiring process with Netskope and wanted to share my experience to provide transparency for other candidates.

While I found the company’s work impressive, my experience with the process raised a few concerns:

• Lengthy process: It took over six months from application to offer, which is unusually long and challenging for candidates to manage.
• Role and compensation mismatch: The final offer was for positions below my current level, and the total compensation was about 30% less than my current take-home, after considering RSUs and fixed pay. They mentioned RSUs could not be considered, and even the fixed component offered was only slightly higher than 20% of my current fixed pay.
• Communication challenges: Coordination with HR was inconsistent, and updates were often delayed, which added to the uncertainty during the process.

I share this feedback in the hope that Netskope can improve its candidate experience. Despite these challenges, I appreciate the opportunity to engage with the team and wish them continued success.
