Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Barcelona, Spain

Positive ExperienceGot Offer

Process

First step: an informal, phone interview with the team manager.

Second step: a coding exercise of average difficulty, to be performed at home. It should not take more than 3-4 hours, although in my case I spent more time (I got engaged by the topic and was too perfectionist).

Third step: 2 hours of interviews in the office.

  • One with the team manager.
  • Another with the engineering team, commenting the coding exercise and asking some questions to demonstrate your knowledge/experience.
  • A last interview with the office manager.

Overall, it was a relaxed interview process.

Questions

The most challenging question was related to the long response time of my coding exercise.
