Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Spain

Process

The interview process was composed of:

  • 1 screening call
  • 1 technical exercise
  • 2 technical interviews (on-site on two different days)
  • 2 culture fit interviews (on-site both same day)

I especially enjoyed the technical ones. The code understanding was quite challenging, and the system design was not trivial at all. All people involved in the recruitment process (recruiters and interviewers) were really nice and paid attention to my needs. Also, the feedback would arrive between 1 up to 2 days after the interview.

The only thing that would improve the process more is to have less on-site interviews (maybe move one of the tech ones to a remote interview) or find a way to make the candidate go to the office less times as possible. This could be challenging to find a good day and time that will make everybody happy, as a result, the interview lasted for two months almost.
