Process

I applied online for a Site Reliability Engineer position and was contacted to set up a phone screen for a different position than the one I applied to. Although I didn't feel the new position they were pushing was a good fit, I did schedule the phone screen nonetheless. Shortly after speaking to them, they emailed me and let me know they were proceeding with other candidates. I found it frustrating that they wasted my time in the first place.
