New Relic's interview process was one of the best interviews I have encountered. I have done a lot of interviews, and I really appreciated their transparency throughout the whole process. From the first call with the recruiter, they told you the salary and the process you could expect. During the all-day 'on-site' (virtual now), I was able to meet with the whole team that I would be working with and got a real feeling of what it would be like working with the team. I was asked a lot of questions about myself and my experience and fewer technical, tricky questions, which I appreciated. The hardest part of the interview would have been an interactive coding challenge, but they made it more of a pair programming experience, so it was much more fun to go through than a whiteboard question where they barely help you along. This helped me really get the sense of what working with the other developers felt like.
Coding take-home exercise, GitHub coding challenge, what I use for testing, etc.
