Not any that I can think of. It is remote.
Since the PE firm acquired New Relic, the MO has been to lay off/restructure and reduce cost. You will not innovate. You will be on a short leash. There's a few red herrings of 'introducing ML here and there' but I wouldn't buy into this, as it's mainly a PR posture. They are losing market share, they've drained the company of talent, and now they are harvesting for profits to reposition the company to sell. It's not a place any engineer should be.
They are not making the company more efficient, they are removing the precious metals from a car, and then putting sawdust in the gas tank before they sell it in a few years. Typical PE moves.
Stop treating employees like they are stupid. Own what is happening, own your decisions, and come to terms with the reality. You'll earn more credibility and trust. You ask the same from us.
You don't have to be a downer and bring morale down. Just say, "Yes, the company is doing X. Yes, this is not great. But, the silver lining here is Y, and if we focus here, both of us can benefit".
