Senior Applications Engineer Interview Experience

Process

Applied through LinkedIn.

Got a call from a recruiter and scheduled a 30-minute phone screen. The phone screen was fairly easy, with basic Java, data structure, and algorithm questions.

Later, the recruiter called again and scheduled an onsite interview. The onsite interview consisted of two rounds. Each round had five people, so a total of ten interviewers were present. The questions asked were quite straightforward, and I felt confident about both rounds. Some examples included:

  • Given a login page, write all possible test cases.
  • Given two lists of integers, A and B, write a program to return a list of integers present in one list but not the other.

Questions

Nothing difficult as such.
