I am a Java developer and I attended an interview on 23rd Aug 2014. I reached the NSN office by 10 am. After a long wait, they called me for the first round of technical discussion. They asked most of the questions about data structures and collections, nothing else. I am a bit poor at writing the code for implementing Stack and Linked List. They asked a few more programs like recursion, string character occurrences, and a few concepts like exceptions and threads. That's it in the first round; no frameworks, nothing they asked. The interviewer gave very nice explanations if I didn't answer a question. He supported me very well. It took around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Finally, he said I was selected for the first round and told me to wait for the second round as well.
In the second round, after 4 hours, they called me. Two people sat and gave me a marker and a board to explain about my project. I presented very well and they asked so many questions about only the project and some technical things. I answered most of the questions in a very good manner. They felt happy and sent me to the manager round. It took more than 1 hour.
In the manager round, he asked some puzzles and logical questions. He clearly explained the work that they are doing at NSN and sent me to HR on the same day at 6 pm.
HR asked for all the details and expected compensation details. I asked for good compensation, but they offered the same as expected.
