It was for the position of a contracted employee on the payroll of an Indian MNC.
I was informed that a technical telephonic round had been scheduled with Nokia, Noida.
During the interview, there were two technical interviewers. They made the call after the scheduled time and instead of apologizing for the lateness, they directly started with the technical questions.
Their behavior was very dominating. Instead of having a healthy discussion, their attitude was commanding.
In the next technical F2F round, the way the interviewer was asking questions and discussing technical parts had a negative and dominating tone.
I am not sure if this is the general culture within their entire project teams. Also, the questions he was asking were not related to my profile.
I was selected in the telephonic round but not in the F2F. Even if I had been selected, I would be better off away from such an organization that does not know how to conduct a proper interview with a candidate.
Although this experience is based on the role of a contractual employee, I am not sure about those interviewed for permanent payroll positions.
My advice to people who are going to join on contractual payroll: please do proper research and get some feedback from a person who actually works in Nokia before considering joining this organization.
