Process

I applied for the position, and one person contacted me about the video interview round.

In the video interview round, two interviewers joined on a Teams meeting for the interview. Questions were mainly from C++ OOPs concepts and pointers.

Questions

Some questions asked on my projects mentioned in my resume.

Declaration of a pointer variable.

What are OSI layers?

Difference between TCP and UDP. Why we use UDP over TCP and vice-versa.

What are static variables, static objects, and static functions?

Write a code to declare a class named Employee and also a parameterized constructor to take name and age. Name should be passed as a char array.

Write code to reverse a string in place.

One puzzle question was also asked related to a daily-wage worker and employer. The employer has a 7 cm rod to give to the worker. What are the minimum cuts required to give the worker 1 cm each day as earnings?
