Pros

In most positions, the work/life balance is good, and working hours are normal. Salaries are at the market average (on the lower side), including benefits and bonus.

Cons

Projects include really old legacy code (over 20 years old in many cases), often written in proprietary Nokia programming languages, with no idea of modern software engineering. Management is, in most cases, completely non-technical, lacking experience. There is high attrition; developers' skills are not built up over time.
