There were two or three rounds. For the first time, a paper test about analytical thinking and general programming knowledge, optionally with different programming languages, was conducted. The further rounds were personal interviews.

For freshers, lots of basic questions on Java, C, and C++ are asked. Lots of questions on projects done in engineering are asked.

While I didn’t make it to the final list, the process was a great learning curve. It helped me understand where I stood and what I needed to work on – especially improving coding speed and strengthening my core CS fundamentals.
