Pros: - Really interesting technical and product challenges, and there's a lot of opportunity to be engaged with solving these on a day-to-day basis. - A genuinely great team where not only is everyone kind and pleasant to work with, but the bar for technical excellence is very high. - In-person work, which may be a pro or a con, but I've really enjoyed working with people IRL instead of exclusively via Zoom.

Cons: - Notion has grown a LOT in the past few years. While overall this is a great thing that allows the company to tackle bigger challenges, there have been some speed bumps as the company adjusts to executing with a larger headcount.

Pros: * Great pay and benefits * Real improvement over salaries from Automate

Cons: * The work being done has no planning associated with it, which causes unnecessary expectations to be set and a huge number of issues. * The work assigned specifically to the Indian office seems very close to busy work and nothing else. * The work culture is quite toxic with a lot of office politics between managers and employees.

Pros: - Awesome product and incredible community - Business way beyond what you'd expect from a smaller startup - People are frank, open, and easy to work with - Challenging technical and product problems

Cons: - Team size is still catching up to the size of the business opportunity. - Still figuring out how to balance product polish with bigger bets. - Standard growth challenges, which include missing processes and code that needs better interface boundaries.
