Pros: - Notion has the pros of large tech companies (great benefits and perks, competitive compensation) and startups (move fast, individual ownership of major projects). - Team members are super kind and inspiring. - We get to work on some state-of-the-art technologies and have the opportunity to explore the boundaries of these technologies (specifically generative AI).

Cons: - Typical growing pains of fast-moving and high-growth startups (i.e., lack of clarity on moving up engineering ladders, and frequent pivots in product focus)

Pros: - People are amazing, and they are not just talented but also compassionate and caring. - You get to work on a really interesting product that is hard to build because it is so complex and customizable, but it is rewarding. - Everyone is very open to feedback, and processes can be adjusted quickly. - There are great benefits. - The business is doing really well, and we are also growing responsibly while being profitable.

Cons: - Not really a con, but as a startup with a complicated product, we are more on the hustling side rather than the relaxing side. So it might not be a fit for everyone.

Pros: - The hiring bar is relatively high, and the company is filled with interesting and competent people. - Company leadership has a strong vision and bold ideas, and is not afraid to take risks. - The company is very deliberate when hiring, and each employee tends to have lots of ownership and autonomy. - The problem space is huge, with plenty of opportunity to grow without the "low hanging fruit" work that is common at startups. - Competitive compensation and perks for a startup, and benefits that are similar to big tech companies.

Cons: - Product and design are very top-down, and engineering is generally top-down on product teams and bottom-up on infra teams. - No annual bonus. - While the company is doing well financially, Enterprise SaaS is a very competitive industry.
