The process was pretty basic.
I loved the process. What bummed me was the recruiter's reply:
"The team enjoyed meeting you and the opportunity to learn more about your background. Unfortunately, the role that we were considering you for has closed, and we will not be able to move forward with your candidacy at this time. We are happy to keep in touch for the future. Opportunities that more closely align with your skillset may open up in the future, and we'd be more than happy to reconnect when the timing is right. Thank you for all the time invested in this process. I hope our paths cross again in the future."
This felt like a massive failure in their recruitment practices. I felt completely like my time was wasted preparing for the interview and going through the coding exercise.
Not even worth discussing this.
