First was the "fit" interview with team members from the Global Accounts team. The two young-looking colleagues dialed over WebEx; one was calling from a very loud cafeteria. No particular questions were asked apart from "Tell me about yourself." There was no time left for questions, which was frustrating.
Then, recruiters put me on to a different role interview loop, "Customer Success Manager," that took six more phone interviews, totaling nine hours, and ended with the head of Solutions Architecture in APJ.
Then the recruiter came back to me and suggested putting me back into the original Global Solutions Architect role. I was then sent a poorly formatted paper that had two use cases to prepare a narrative/document and a presentation for. I had questions about the requirements, but the contacts specified in the paper were not responding.
I took it up with the recruiter, who was also ignorant. I submitted my version of the response anyway, with assumptions and clarifications. For one month and three weeks, no one followed up or responded to emails. Then, without any heads-up, I received the automatic email that my application was not successful.
