I was interviewed for an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) position.
The interview process was very smooth.
Initially, I was nervous and unsure about what to expect. However, the pre-screening call with the HR team helped ease a lot of that anxiety. The HR representative was incredibly supportive and walked me through the overall interview structure, which gave me a better sense of clarity and confidence.
Though I was a bit frightened before the first technical round, once it started (conducted over Zoom), the process felt natural and comfortable. The interviewers were professional yet friendly, which made it easier to express my thoughts.
The onsite interviews were equally pleasant. I found everyone to be welcoming and supportive throughout the process. The atmosphere was positive, and I truly appreciated how respectful and considerate the interviewers were.
Overall, the interview experience was very well-organized, transparent, and encouraging. I'm grateful for the support I received at each stage.
Coming from a networking background, I recommend being well-prepared for scenario-based questions on networking. Make sure your fundamentals are solid, as the interviewers pay close attention to even the smallest details.
